Stainless Steel

Immergood uses stainless steel when building the dasher, can, gears and crank. No tin, no coated zinc or alloys are used to make this Premium Ice Cream Maker. Why stainless steel? Ice cream makers use rock salt combined with ice to make the temperature drop to 8-15 degrees F. This salt is corrosive to steel parts. Stainless steel does not rust when in contact with salt.
